Our drummer and vocalist own Fathom Media so they are super talented in everything media related.. They designed the website, they shot and edited the music video, they're busy designing our album art, they did the recording and mixing of the entire album.. Basicly the only thing they didn't do was mastering the album.. We sent the album to Roagan Kelsey at Lapdust Studios for mastering.. So we are really lucky to be able to do al these things without spending too much money.. Our vocalist and drummers was finished with highschool busy doing media while i was still busy learning to read.. The band wil start gigging in the next month or two and i'll really love to gig with some of the forum members
Awesome. Well, we are based in Pretoria, and just finished 4 demo tracks and registered them with Samro. We have more songs but we need some time. We have 5 songs rehearsed and we want to get 8 songs down pat before gigging. Our material is not in the normal pop structure so even though we try to appeal to radio the songs have many transitions that take time to rehearse.
I am a designer myself, but I am not working on the video side of things. It's awesome that you guys are doing what you are doing though. Maybe you can help elevate the level of videos in the local industry.
