? We'll see... I'll probably keep a few pedals it can't replace, but otherwise it will simplify a lot, so should be able to fit it on the board. Must resist going rack again though...

What could you possibly want to replace on there? You'd have to pry that barber and those lovepedal pedals from my cold dead fingers if they were mine!

Exactly - the G-system doesn't do drive or amp sim, so those pedals will stay. The FV500L works as an expression, so that stays. Pitch Black, Comp-Nova, Lovepedal Vibe, Wah, SmallStone phaser, Octa-Switch, and maybe even my TimeFactor are all quite possibly redundant (plus at least one of the pedals I was going to buy). Some I may hang onto regardless of whether I'm going to use them in the near future or not - I'll see. I'll wait until I've had a chance to muck around with everything and try a few setups, see what works best - I don't have to rush into it.

So Alan, how did you verify this was legit? that price is ridic for a G System.

Asked the guy a question and he replied knowledgeably, so I took a chance. When I saw his real name he was easy to Google to double check (and I knew the name anyway - he plays for a well-established act).

Why was this guy selling for so cheap? Maybe he experienced the same problems these people have with tone sucking.

I suppose you could always just mod the input buffer, but the comments worried me. People are unhappy.

That's a different, limited edition version with "improved" buffers. Anyway, don't believe everything you read - I had the original version for a month and the input buffer was already very, very good. I think the problems some people are having are more to do with what they are connecting to than the G-System itself.
