Not if you're stuck on metal you don't.

... there, that should derail the thread nicely.
You're nothing but a common troll ? ?

I'll have you know, sir, that I am anything but a common troll. I am a sophisticated, cultured and dignified troll. ?

Unfortunately I'm stuck at work, and it's still going very slow... (Hence the internet usage ? ) So the old Eagle has to wait for me till I get home ☹

This year I really want to attend a massage course. Any ideas on how I can massage my own back and neck?

I have a few things.......................but the biggest thing would be to finish off my car as it's been dragging on for ages, so I've made up my mind that I'm going to finish it myself, which includes, new engine, gearbox, suspension, interior as well as to respray it myself as I hate the colour and it wont work with my choice in interior colour.................All in 3 months......never done anything like this before, but I have helped guys out for ages, now it's time to do my own stuff.

PLEASE tell me you're restoring her?????
She is GORGEOUS!!!! I LOVE the 356 Speedsters! ?

BTW, is that the original colour?? If so, why dont you leave it?
You'll only devalue her if you change it??
Just curious!!

Nitebob

Have to agree with Norman, keep everything as original as possible...

deefstes

Can I just say it again...

Wow!

Wizard

I love the colour.
One day when I'm big I want a Strat in that colour too; (just like Rene's)

Ahhh, some interest in the old lady...........she isn't usually appreciated.

Alas, it's not an original 356 speedster, it's a replica. R800 000 plus for an original is out of my grasp. Mine is based on a 1956 356 speedster with a shortened 1954 beetle pan, front suspension, rear gearbox, brakes and steering is all 356 and early 911 porsche though.

The original colour was silver, there was many issues that were sorted and there are a lot more that have to be done before she can be sprayed again. 356 original tail lights, early 911 gauges as well as a completed interior is still to come.

The new colour will be a navy blue from porsche, so she'll still look tasty, I'm also in the process of building a banjo steering wheel for her as well.

Previous engine was a 1976 porsche 914 engine with HUGE twin carbs, but she ran a bearing, so we're going the watercooled route with an adapter plate.

Norman86

Well she looks DAMN fine for a replica!!! i have a real soft spot for those 356 speedsters...
I was actually looking for some nice high res pics of them yesterday for my laptops wallpaper!!

Good luck then hey!!! May she come out even more Porsche like ?
