Breaking the ice with Komplete 8 (synth track)

As posted elsewhere, I recently acquired Komplete 8. So much stuff. Two days of just scanning through synth patches and I've still heard only maybe 30% of them. Decided the only way to learn is to just pick a few nice ones, start tweaking and making music.

So here's where inspiration led (zero guitar content alert). Sort of an aggressive, high energy action movie soundtrack piece.

In there are Massive, FM8, Vintage Machines II, Absynth 5 (multiple instances of some the them). Also Razor (not part of Komplete 8 ) and Superior Drummer. Lots of sounds.

FM8 was love at first tweak. Great arpeggiator and distortion which I put to over-the-top use (the arpeggiated lead line is FM8)

Listening to it now it sounds a little thin? Lacks more oomph early in the track. I don't care, it was fun to make. ?

Comments! Pleeeease! Just to chew the fat. No one feels like working today anyway, right?

the tune seemed a bit different from your other stuff you've posted, UNTIL 2:24 where your signature drumbeat appeared.

Awesome imagery HAHAHA excellent. I give all my songs these meaningless invented titles hoping the listeners will impose their own image, since it's instrumental. You certainly did that!

If it's intended for me - it's not your music, was aimed at the pic. The two on the left look like most anime characters. The far left is just about any anime character or yugioh contestant.

If it's not aimed at me..... then i'll just say... stuff. Maybe he is suggesting a perm? Or to get some studs? Or to wear sunglasses indoors? Or to grow your hair?

If it's intended for me - The music reminded me of those old school cheesy 80's big hair metal band. Not that I am saying anything bad about the synth song itself. I enjoyed it quite a bunch, but I do also enjoy my cheesy 80's big hair band synth from time to time. It was good tho!

Aimed at the posting of an 80s hair band picture in my song thread of course. Coming down with a heavy case of cognitive dissonance here, trying to connect that picture with a car chase/space battle electro piece... nope, I got nothing.

But hey, to each their own. Still appreciate taking the time to post.
