For some reason new years parties always end up sucking or being a big snorefest... maybe its just my experience.. bit of an anti-climax.
So how you folks gonna be entering 2012? Friends and family? Going out? Sleeping? Fireworks? Restaurant?

I dont know. I think I'll go and get some Chinese food and take it to Cool Runnings Benoni and then go to a friends house and then go home so that I can throw rocks on the roof of the oke down the road who always sets off fireworks which bugger up my dogs and some of the other neighbours dogs as well. Then I'll stand under the tree over the road and listen to his wife scream and see him run out with his torch and look all over for the person who threw rocks at his house. Ja! Wie nie wil hoor nie, moet voel. Ag maybe this year it'll be quiet because he didnt find the oke last year. Then again maybe this year he'll find the guy.
Ag I think I'll go play some golf tomorrow. And afterwards I'll look for someone to get gaar with. And if I cant find anyone then I'll check if I can get gerook with the caddy master. And then I'll go throw some rocks.
And in the early hours I'll think about my resolutions and how I'm going to break them. Should be about the fourth year running that I resolve not to eat bits and pieces of other species.

This year i'm chilling on new year , performing soft laid back instrumental jazz i'm thankfully not in demand for new years eve parties and i like it that way , new year gigs are usually drunken affairs with out of hand patrons and hectic drivers on road . . so i'm happy to sit this one out . Well everyone have a good one whatever you doing and be safe

Last year I went to bed around 21h00, set my alarm for 23h45, put on some Priest on the Ipod, saw the new year in and went back to bed.....but if I were closer to Gommorah I'd be out with Ray caddying his rocks for him for sure! ?....maybe one day I get to throw a TV out of hotel window, who knows.

It's only until I get home. Friends are spending the night with us so that they don't have to deal with roadblocks. We're going out for supper (Red Chamber, Hyde Park) and the restaurant will chuck everybody out about 10. I've got some Goblin Bitter and Emperor IPA in the fridge (much better than anything any restaurant in Hyde Park is going to offer) and a good single malt ready for the toast. So I can wait for that.

so there are people walking all over me and my place. both of the laaities put together a party which is mergerd and the tannie also has some people over. now everyone is pitching up. I mean, ther's just so much time you can spend standing under a tree.
