So does anyone know where we can find this mythical guide to other fake bending concept by zack wylde?

I bend the neck a lot - one of the things I picked up from Adrian Belew. Faking a whammy bar is all just using bends, prebends and the odd slide or behind the nut bend.
Hell, just watch any good country player, who do it to fake a pedal steel player:

I've used the pre-bend myself. Its not bad. On a different note I've even heard of a guy emulating slide guitar with a whammy.

^ Yeah... Beck and Michael Lee Firkins do that rather well. As does one of the lick library guys, Mike Caswell - hugely influenced by Beck and man I love this guys playing. Soooooooo much fire!
Its pretty much like Alan said for the prebends and stuff... and its in one of them old guitar world columns... but bear in mind its nothing like the real though. But I guess we all knew that already. And seeing as you said mythical... you will never find it now....
And thanks Alan... for putting those vids up... now the nightmares return.... thanks... thanks alot ☹

Jack Flash 'effed up his Tele neck doing neck-bend vibrato. He was so embarrassed he gave up playing real guitars and took to bass ?
