I've been trying to sell my fenders for two months now with no luck, why is it that people still think older guitars are more expensive than new ones? Aren't the new ones better in a sence I'm even trying to swop my fender jag for a gibson studio but don't know where to do that either running out of options any advice?

In the old days guitars were handcrafted, today they are pressed out by machine. :?
Even the wood qualities were better in days gone by, today the trees breathe too much smog and produce inferior wood. :-\
They manufacture guitars in China and cut corners at every turn, a millimetre here, two millimetres there. ?

These are my own perceptions only and should not become general beliefs, but if I was in the market for an expensive guitar,
I'd buy one that has lasted a few decades without delaminating. ?

Selling (more expensive) guitars in SA is though business

Dont expect a quick sell, unless you make it a bargain/superdeal/almost for free ?

What are you saying? What year/model are your Fenders? A 1995 USA Fender Standard strat will set you back a lot less than a 2011 USA Standard Strat. Or are you comparing to 1960s Fenders?
