Please help, The clean sound,(Slight delay and reverb sound) starts developing cracks after a while - Its got the same sound as a faulty pre amp valve.Ive checked everything and pinpointed the source at the pedal.I first thought it was a flat battery on my EMG equipped strat. I am using an unregulated 12v power supply on the pedal. Could this be the problem? It starts of well but halfway through a gig this starts to happen. The ovedrive and distortion still sounds ok. Only the clean sounds distorts. Any body else picked up this problem or am I just unlucky with Zoom pedals?

Only way to rule out the PSU is to try another, better one. Electronic gear is too expensive to risk using cheap power supplies anyway (IMO).
Either way it sounds like an electronic problem that starts when the two heat up, which is not a good sign. I'd try checking for dry joints first and then some "Freezit" type spray on components one by one to see if I could get one to fail. Chances are it's a pro job to fix if it turns out to be the Zoom - they are all surface mount technology.
