I'm in East Rand Woodworkers and I'll tell you what they do. Every now and again the assoc chairman send s out a communication with maybe a picture or a plan and says so and so wants this or something like this made out of this and that or whatever. And I'll tell you, so and so gets what they're after. And they get good staff because some of these guys have spent a lifetime doing this and I've seen some of the furnishings they make and it kwaliteit hey. But a few things you've got to be careful of and that is maybe someone jumps up who hasnt been doing it too long and thinks they can manage it. To get around that, you ask the chairman who he'd recommend and he is likely to give you good direction becasue it is in the association's interest to do so. I know our chairman is reliable in that way. Then another thing is that these opes can get a bit creative. And add a few extras as a freeby bonus for you becasue they are so happy for the bucks and so eager to please. So you dont want to get your cabinet back and it looks like the guy hukked a pane from the Cistine Chapel and you cant even see into it.
