Bob-Dubery Sound Techniques used to run a recording studio in Chelsea (used for the first Pink Floyd recordings, also used by The Who, Jethro Tull, The Yardbirds and many others). These days the company runs a TV production studio in Norfolk. They've released a series of "Guitar Maestro" DVDs that some here may find interesting. It's "live in studio". Hiqh quality recordings, though because of the very plain studio aesthetics they're probably best appreciated by guitar nerd types. I have the Martin Carthy disc. There's plenty of interview material, and whilst it's NOT a tutorial, he discuss discuss gear and tunings to some degree (and how guitars call to you). I've got my eye on a couple of these from me to me for Christmas: Martin Simpson and Big Jim Sullivan.
BobC Had my eye on some of these for a while. They look great. It was in a sample clip from Guitar Maestros that I came across Steve Tilston, a very underrated guitarist and songwriter, IMO.
