What are your opinions on Behringer pedals
I am looking at buying V-TONE ACOUSTIC ADI21 for my acoustic. reviews on Hamony Central are ok.
Why are these pedals so cheap R397.00?

Reviews for most things on HC are either complete lovefests or total hatefests. You can't go by them.

Chinese made. Often a cheap knockoff of more expensive gear.

Some of the Behringer stuff is good, some is terrible. Try one out see if it does the job.

I used the behringer acoustic DI for a few months, and then the power supply input stoped working, but it can still run of batteries.

I'm not the biggest behringer fan, i just dont have all the luck with there products!!!

Do some research, look into tech 21 or something similar, but it's alot more expensive than behringer.

But the for the time i used the behringer DI, it worked really well with all the eq's and that.

Sorry, but HC reviews tend to be people either trying to desperately justify the gear they have bought and are often written during the rose-tinted "honeymoon" phase of new gear ownership. A lot of the reviews are suspect besides that: The sheer number of guys who have been "playing for 30 years" makes me wonder, and the reviews written by folk using cheap and nasty guitars into cheap and nasty amps (or PODs) and then passing judgement on a pedal or pickup (or whatever) are useless.

I usually search on various forums like the ones on Harmony Central and The Gear Page. For many pieces of kit I'll look on Sweetwater and see if they have it (if they don't, it's usually a bad sign) and if they do have it, I see if there is a staff or customer review.

Ive got a V-TONE ACOUSTIC ADI21 and quite like it. Im not hard on my gear and it hasnt given me any problems yet. What I do like about it, is that it has a valve modulating effect - in other words, you can make your acoustic's sound 'warmer' by dialing it in. That was actually why I got it... And of course you can use it just as a DI as well. Have used it on stage and to record with and am very satisfied. Especially at that price. Had it for about two years now.
