@Tokaisa, my eyes have been opened, he was even more annoying when he was younger. I have to say that he wasn't playing "classical pieces" on the piano, it was rock schmultz. I'll give it to him, he built a persona built on confidence, whether it's proportional to what his abilities are is up to people's taste. I'm so glad I have taste.

Ok so his music makes me want to puke, but I did see a clip on TV once of him playing drums and I have to say, he rocked it...A lot of these kid prodigy's end up getting stage-managed to pieces and told what to wear etc so while I agree he looks like the type of kid who would have lasted 2 minutes at my old school, lets not be too quick to assume he has any kind of control over his career.

In 10 years when he has been through the drugs and booze and chicks hell, he will probably come out and release an album of decent stuff...or not.

I dont think there's too much wrong with the guy. OK, in company as we find ourselves in here, maybe. Becasue this is a hard school where the okes do gym and take supplements for their muscles and cage fighting and pushups and all. And scary tattoos as well. So here he wont be dug because this is only tuff 'n hard rockers. For me his music isnt what I dig but hell I may be wrong because someone's buying it. But it doesnt give me such a pain but maybe because I'm the more sensitive type and there's some hard acts to follow here to get rock'n rolla like.

I'm not sure I really follow your argument. I certainly don't think JB's lack of muscles and tattoos is what makes him so silly. There are some brilliant rockers who are venerated in these fora who also don't really have toned torsos and tattoos - Bono, Mick Jagger etc. There are also the faux rockers like Nickelback who do have the muscly arms and tattoos and who don't seem to go down as particularly popular around here.

Ray the reason I don't like Bieber is because I saw a music video he did with a rapper and he was acting like he invented hardcore, had known the rapper for, well his whole life I guess, and breaking hearts of women that looked perhaps a bit too mature for him and all this at the tender age of...I don't know, 14? Just a tad over the top, and not in a good way like biting the head off a chicken.
