Jack Flash Jr wrote I'm assuming Dewald pre-order the Bieber shirts, so fair enough... others will have to wait until next time.
Surprised the AST70's are still around!

Yeah, that strat looks tasty. If I didn't have my mind set on something else I would have caved in and bought one of those heretical twangy things ?

and at least one was an excellent purchase. can't vouch for the other, but mine has occupied nearly three hours of my day today - hnsgd to me i guess? more to follow on the experience as soon as i get time, but what a pleasure!

thanks to alan for the clearance's publicity and tokaisa for the opportunity. just must say i'm slightly disappointed coz no-one mentioned anything about the bieber t-shirts until a day or so ago. does deefstes get dibs on everything?

Sadly, even if Lance were inclined to hand out guitars, I just can't play a Gibson scale length without my left hand cramping. I've tried before and always end up selling them off. Pity really, otherwise I would have got myself a LS160 years ago.

Btw folks. Jack's "golf-cart" reference was about the Caledon Beer fest. EZ and I arrived late (as always) and I'm phoning Jack saying, where do I have to go. "I'll come meet you," says he.

So we're waiting when this little electric cart pulls up. "Do you want a lift up to the festival?" EZ, my lovely lady and I jump in the cart. As soon as we whizz out of the parking lot we pass Jack, who's just hiked the 500 meters down there. He gets this bitterly pained expression as we whisk past him, howling with laughter until he's receded to a tiny, trudging speck in the background.

Ah. Good days.
