And vote for our men and women in black who've worked their asses off to record metal tracks for the monthly competition:

Only 25 votes so far. So yours will inevitably make a big difference.

It's amazing to see what people have done. And it only takes a spare half-hour or less to expose yourself to the masses of hard work that these participants have put themselves through to have a product - one that exposes them to public scrutiny.

Give them the feedback they deserve (because I think all deserve positive feedback - from the old hands to those who thought a DAW was what you hold open out of courtesy).

I'm one of those who have not been paying any attention to the comps, and its not right. Thanks for the reminder, I'll make an effort to be more active here, at least in terms of listening to the entries and voting. Can't say I can offer much in terms of feedback yet, but you're right, the least we can do is listen to the work that has been done and vote. Will do so tonight when I get home.

Ray

Well, I usually do but at the moment it is a bit hectic with clients and all wanting everything done and sorted before they bugger off on holiday ne. When I say I do, I mean I take a listen and vote.

A very high standard this month as well.

Wow, there are a TON of entries, which is great, but also a mission.

Is there anyway to get box.net to play on GFSA? It'd make it so much easier to listen to the different tracks, rather than opening 10 new windows and then trying to remember whose was whose..

Is there no way a simple little music player could be build and embedded into the post with the entries or am I talking about sometime too complex?

I think there's a way to do that on Soundcloud?? I often see on other forums that the user has a track embedded in his signature. We could try get entrants to do that. Also naming entries properly helps a lot.

singemonkey

Agreed. I've seen soundcloud players in peoples signatures on other forums. That might work.
