I find these threads interesting reading on TGP (and shocking for the insane amount of gear some people buy), so I thought we might have a go here.

I'll go first...

Mr T..... I've bought a few things this year...however I'm in need of a TC-Electronics multi Fx pedal. (or am I knocking on the wrong door ? )

As my Twin crapped out a couple of weeks ago, definitely at the moment. ?

At this point, I can safely say the Blonde and the Para Acoustic DI were the two best investments on the whole pedalboard. Well worth it - gigged with just the blonde and the LTD recently, playing with Valiant Swart and Bill knight and didn't miss the full board or the Twin at all.

it's been a hectic year for me .gear wise......... ? as there i was quite content for the last 7 years after retiring from the electric guitar scene ( i thought being 40 was too old to be a pro rock/pop muso ....it's a young persons game so i quit cover bands doing that genre and settled into a quieter acoustic career and successfully so ) so i was happily into acoustic jazz and world music ......... when out of the blue on you tube i discover Jim Campilongo (the New York..... telecaster virtuosa and instrumental experimental/jazz player ) about jan this year and boom i'm out wanting to go electric again ...but not for rock but for experimental music and jazz ......so i started buying electrics and amps yet again

Wow. I feel pretty good. My GAS appears well constrained by my limited student income this year.

I had makepeace make me an A/B box, which I seldom use now due to band members becoming more patient in their respective dotages (but it will be useful for doing direct recordings to PC while monitoring through guitar amp). And I bought an old Celestion black-back that awaits a new hour in the sun. I think it'll be a wonderful speaker for what's now looking like it will be a 1974X combo clone.

And a pinky slide - that I paid too much for because I was in a hurry. But it's such a great slide that I've long since forgiven myself.

Jeepers, I feel like I'm somewhat immune to GAS compared to other forum members here!

All I did this year was sell my BOSS ME-50, buy a Line6 POD HD400 and an entry level Ibanez bass for recording purposes.
