Hello from a new member

Hi GFSA members. Long-time lurker and finally new member here from Durban. Been playing guitar for about 13yrs even though you probably wouldn't say so if you ever heard me play? As a church worship leader I mainly play acoustic guitar but also enjoy playing electric guitar, bass, and drums.

I studied as a software engineer but have been working as a network engineer for the past 4 years. In my spare time I'm learning to refurbish old/beat up guitars for fun. So far I've re-finished a squire bullet strat and and old SX bass guitar with moderate success. Will try post some pics soon.

I'd list my gear but it's not a very impressive list. I love all things Fender and would love to own a MIA Tele one day but for now my Affinity Tele will have to do. Another item on my 'guitar bucket list' is to own a tube amp.
