1.Hi has anybody on the forum ordered guitars or amps through the want it all website ,and how reliable is their service delivery? Thanks .........

I have used WantItAll for ordering other stuff before, but Prefer Takealot (used to be Take2). They are cheaper, have a UK and USA section and the service is great. Have not used them for gear yet, but would recommend them highly.

As I understand it, they're an agent for Amazon in SA(?) Most of the stuff seems to be import, not sure about duties, supposed to be included, but I have heard of people having problems when the goods arrive.

I used wantitall.co.za for my iRig, they said 2-3 weeks for delivery which it was. I was pretty happy with their service and I got updates everytime a status of my order changed. I also got to use some of my ebucks for the purchase (which is handy if you have some ebucks).
I dont think they are the cheapest, but I will use them again if I need to.

Used them once 5 or 6 years ago. Now its easy enough to import things ourselves.

They work out OK on the larger items, but on smaller stuff their pricing is often pretty ridiculous.

In my personal experience WantItAll are a bunch of cheats. Their prices are mostly ridiculous.
Find something on there that you can easily get locally from a store or from another site
and you will see their prices are ridiculously inflated. We all need to make a profit, but DAMN...

Another vote for takealot. Have used them to import two guitars, an amp, a crapload of parts and spares, some cd's, a multi-guitar stand and even a litter-kwitter for me kitties.

Actually it varies between the two... no idea why. If I find something expensive on wantitall I check take2 for a cheaper one.... and vice versa. I've ordered two things from each.... one being the cheaper route than the other at the time... I know, confuses the crap out of me too. Best bet is to bookmark some things and get a notification when the price changes.
Through both I got my imports within 14 days... once I got it in 8 days. So not bad at all. just my opinion
