Ok, so I've mentioned before about my plans to sell my WRX. Well, it happened. I finally got a decent, I use that word loosely, trade-in on it.

To avoid the verbal abuse I've decided to post this just before I leave for the day.

You obviously did the gear test right? You put all your guitars, pedals and amp in the car to test it for size before you bought it ?
Its a very respectable looking vehicle. It makes me slightly juvenile for wanting a pimped ride :-[

It's an S40 2.4i. And yes the boot is more than big enough to fit my gear and then some.

My bad ! I should have mentioned that this is a pic I got of the net. I didn't have time to take a pic of the actual car. Mine is identical except for the lack of a sun roof and its right hand drive ?

Did a fair bit of driving this weekend and I'm really enjoying the comfort factor. Was missing the power of my scooby at first, but I've managed to find the power band on this car. It's no pocket rocket, but it's not a slouch either.

I like the S40's, very underrated car - but I'd still take the Rex over it. ?

I have to say I'm enjoying the comfort and ease of driving in traffic. I travel +- and hour from Alberton to Sandton every morning and evening and this car makes it a breeze.

I haven't given up the speed bug completely though. Was gonna buy a CBR600RR, but will have to put it off till mid next year when my financial situation is little more favourable.
