So getting back to my project, this is what I want to put together :
My old junction box was way too big and the audio cable was thin and not shielded so I could't run the power cable in the enclosure without causing a huge amount of hum in the signal.
I'm planing on using Neutrik locking jacks and George L's cable for the audio jacks.
Probably use a Neutrik locking power socket as well, but I need advice on what power cable to use and how best to shield the cabled and sockets on the inside of the enclosure to prevent any hum. My brother said normal power chord doesn't have enough shielding for this type of thing.
