I was in Beijing a few weeks ago, unfortunately I was there on business and couldn't get to any music outlets, what a pity..
Looks like you found a beaut Zohn, I am jealous, yes I am! ?
Malkav
I had no idea someone retailed these locally :-[ They're one of the only brands that do an affordable 7 string hollowbody...Does anyone know if the agency for them still exists down here? ?
Squonk
The Eastmans that Andy sold were good value for money. I played a from the bottom to the top range, very good guitars.
Malkav
That's a very interesting volute, is it scarf jointed?

So.... Does this mean you want to sell me that Berg OM of yours? ?
racman

Thank you Rikus, yes the top is a great slab and the rest of the woods too.

Now Zohn, how does this compare to the Berg OM?
Both are OM's, so interested to see the difference. I'm assuming the Eastman is a significantly cheaper guitar? However, how does it compare in sound, playability, etc???
Also... Have you played the few larrivee's that other members on the forum own? How do these all compare? I'd love to get a comparison from some of you guys who have played many of these guitars!!

Just a little Ovating! - If I may (?)
Hans, (Berg Guitars), and I, have been best friends for years and still are!
We've come a long way together, and done a lot together! I have a lot of friends,
who are very good people and are close to me, but there's something about Hans that is not easy to describe!
I suppose it is the image that he portrays and his general attitude, I don't know,
all I know, he is a very, very special kind of guy, and I treasure his company every time we visit.
Although it's been a while since we've seen each other, (since I have now moved away from Meyerton),
the bond, I feel, is still intact! His talent, with, being a luthier, excells with each masterpiece he produces! The success he's achieved up till now,
is phenomenal! But it is to be expected from the kind of person that he is, as I've experienced in the past, when
different projects are tackled! This man is precise in everything that he does! There's no room for the
slightest flaw! It is exactly as he is too, without flaws! I shall allways cherish our times together, and
consider myself very, very fortunate to have a best friend like Hans!!!
What a Guy!!!
