Very different Alan.
It is physically quite a bit shorter than my Guild, which makes it a lot more comfortable to hold.
It is also deeper than my Guild.
Just been playing them side by side for a while.
They actually play and sound so different that it's almost unfair to make a comparison.
Because of its dimensions it just feels easier to play.
It feels as if there is less string tension and allows you to just dig in and fly.
It has a full and warm sound, although possibly not very complex.
The Guild feels as if she demands more discipline and respect; but rewards you with a crisper and more complex tone.
Have no idea if any of that makes sense ... but those were the words that came to mind ?
Bottom line - there is space for both and will reach for them at different times !!
This is the "plain" one.
I also have the "olive" one that I must also give a proper run try out.
Spoilt for guitars at the moment.
It's a shit job, but someone has to do it ...
