Agreed on epic's vocal comment, but then again I just listened to "Circa Survive" on youtube, that guys voice wasn't great at all to me, but I suppose 315,000 + Facebookians can't be wrong ?

Hi guys and thanks for the feedback.

The vocals are performed by me, and singing is not my first talent...but i got to keep on keeping on.

This song was written on just an acoustic guitar, in Durban, and I immediately knew I had to take it further. After a few weeks of re-writting the lyrics and arranging it down to 4 mins I started recording. As with most of my recording, initial production begins in Audiomulch (awesome program), I get the basis track laid down and arranged so that I have cue's. Then I go into Multitrack Studio and start recording all the live instruments (recording live guitars can take a week just to get the mic placement & tone required just right), and I also compose the synth. Once I have all the elements recorded, I jump into Cubase & get the mixing going, sound engineering is a major passion. Usually takes 3 weeks to complete one song. After all that I head back into Multitrack Studio & begin Mastering the audio file, the mastering is only done once I have about 3 songs recorded so that I can get the overall sound of the music similar in tone and warmth.

I used my trusty Ibanez Artist on this one, she's legend. No acoustic guitar used here strangely, I tried but the tone didn't fit in with the vibe I was going for so I removed it from the final mix.

This one should be on the radio soon ?
