MIKA-the-better-one ................. Vocals................... that and a loop station. This guy makes this gt10 super useful in a situation where single pedals probably would fall short..... And its bloody good... =
singemonkey It seemed a little self-indulgent at first. But I kept watching. And I'm glad I did. It really kicks off about 2 mins in or so. Watched right through. Very skilled, and very sincere too. The ending made me laugh too. Thanks for posting. I agree. This is much better than most of what comes out of a GT10. So dub... new direction for you MIKA? ?
AlanRatcliffe Only goes to prove that it's not the tool, it's the person using it. And there ain't much wrong with a GT-10 if you know how to use it.
ZarK Awesome!!! The dude rocks his gear and I'm sure his put in countless hours to make it happen! Congrats to him and thanks for showing! Most users in my experience expect a multi fx to sound great out of the box without putting in the hours... Anyone who expects that a fx processor off the shelf is going to sound great with his/her particular guitar(s) and amp(s) should stop dreaming and rather save his money... (I sold both my GT-5 and GT-8 prematurely due to my own incompetence and the same unrealistic expectations back in the day...) It's unrealistic to expect a piece of gear to match perfectly with each of the millions of guitar/amp combinations that are available to us. You have to train your ear to be able to tweak the tones you have in your head and make it work for your unique set-up. I shudder to think how much cash I've wasted by unrealistically expecting my multi fx units to be plug-and-play without considering that there's so much more involved... ...It learns... ? In my experience the Boss range of multi fx are no match (with reference to quality of fx and usable tone sculpting options) compared to units such as TC Electronic has on offer but at their price point and in my opinion, they can be tweaked to offer so much more than the majority of intended users will ever need... They can be tweaked to sound great. I'm sick of people complaining that the distortions are "fizzy" etc... Fizzy = Lazy imo... Put in the hours and make it work with your rig. Find the combinations that work together with your gear to get the tones you're after. If you know how to tweak these units you'll know exactly what I'm talking about...
MIKA-the-better-one I have always been into a bit of dub, such as Amon tobin and Defacto, Dub Trio...... etc..... I get a bit seasick sometimes however... This guy just really pulled off a very musically rich performance from the tool, which I appreciate ....
DDR4LYF So much skill! Wow that guy has a great voice and great timing! This kind of thing brightens my day every time!!! ?
