Picked this up this morning after driving to potch to collect it from a fellow member Karoo..........cheers bud.
I was eyeing out this amp a few months ago, but the lacking of the overdrive channel made me turn it down, in fact I turned down 4 amps. I got a nice price drop from Karoo, but decided that it was still too high as I would only be using the clean channel.
Since I've been playing more with various effects, I decided to have another look at the HIWATT 200 head and cab...........Once thing is for sure...........holy cow, this thing is loud................really loud and for a budget head and cab it has some great tone. Downside...........bugger it's heavy..........cab weighs a tonne and doenst have wheels, Bear in mind that this is being bought for the jam room. My G100 combo will be used for my portable amp and the big sucker will stay put.
It comes with the celestion rocktrons which are more than suited for what I need. Overall...................I;m over the moon.
