To quote Baldrick: "I have a cunning plan". Something I have in the back of my mind with the "SA guitarists" thread was maybe organising a CD compilation with some of the artists and mix in some of the newer (often unsigned) players - some of whom lurk around these parts ? . Do it as a guitarforum.co.za co-production and the proceeds could go to running this place as well as promoting some of our talent.
Still nothing more than a thought at this point, and will require some careful planning, the odd bit of schmoozing and some capital. However, I do think the forum needs to grow a bit more first.

He he.. ;D thanks for the support Mr. Satriani.
And Alan, i think that is a fantastic idea, however, the sort of thing that you suggested would require everyone's (on the forum, that is) support. And i really think its something that can work.
Let me know when you go into the customs guitar making biz ;D
Cheers
