Ace Frehely - No REgrets

IceCreamMan

Ace is one of my guitar hero's , while he has never been flash ( ja ja i know that sounds like a contraditions being the space man an all) his riffs are legendary. I was at Skoobs the other day an noticed this autobiography and setteld down with a nice grande cappacino and the book. Another great read ....seems all the rage for rock stars to release autobiographies these days eh. I saw another one by axl and vince ( mothely crue)\

Back to Ace's book , some nice kisstory (u gotta be in the kiss army to understand that ) . I was a 100% Kiss fan in the late 70's , we were a bunch of 4 guys who loved kiss , donning make up and the like.

Anyway , seems my folks were right back then , Kiss were on drugs ?

A good read, worthy of the price tag of R205 .

You'd remained in some doubt? ?

Cool. Not a huge fan - although I do like Detroit Rock City and God of Thunder (once had a dream in which Ace was my substitute teacher (in full makeup) and offered to teach me to play that after class) - but it's very cool when something comes along that lets you rekindle an old passion.

Hammeron

Yea, my Dad's got Double Platinum, great collection!
Good time rock n' Roll!
They must have been something else live, especially back then! {In the dark ages! ? }
Great band!

What with my studies and all i only just got to finish this book this morning.... A good read for the KISS Army....some great insights into the whirlwind that Kiss became after the launch of the Alive album. they literally went from a band selling 100 000 copies of an album to zillions over night catapulting them into the limelight. some great reading of the personaltieis and the inevitable clashes that came about.... Ace's view of Gene Simmons is also interesting to read.

I great book for the Kiss Army or those interested in Kissology. One or 2 funny bits to it.....

Gonna start Dave Mustaine's book now and should finish it over the next couple of weeks. 7th son , when i am done with it i lend it to you , i know u a fan.
