Line 6 UX-8 worth it?

Hi,

I'm looking to start recording and I have been looking into the Line 6 UX series. I've heard some demos of a friend of mine on the ux-1 and its excellent.

I was just wondering if getting the bigger brother will be worth the money? I will probably in the future use all the inputs and capabilities but at the moment guitar and mic is all I need.

Is there any thoughts on that?

I picked up a UX2 here on the forum recently and it works lekker.

All I need for guitars and vocals at the moment 8)

Yeah the ux2 is the unit I have been looking at and it has all the capabalitites altough there's a special for the ux8 and the price difference is about R600 so I rate its worth the extra bucks plus it brings pof farm platinum.

If you can get it at that price then it's worth it ? but the normal new price for me is a bit overwhelming.
