As the topic states, are they shielded?
I noticed that my new strat is more noisy on positions 1, 3 and 5 than my MIM strat that I shielded.
I've read online that they are shielded with conductive paint, but I've not seen that confirmed somewhere officially.
Any help?

Not last time I looked - unless you count the little bit of aluminium foil on the pickguard. Admittedly I haven't had occasion to open up a US Strat for years though...

I'm less keen to diy the shielding on this baby. Might need to get in touch with a few techs to see who can do it...
