Hey guys
I'm going to be hosting a show on an upcoming online radio station. The show is going to be all about South African music and bands. What I'm needing is music though, so if you're in a band or know anyone who is, drop me a message so we can arrange to get a copy of the music. Any song I debut on my show will then be entered into general rotation on the station so it's an excellent opportunity for exposure.
The show's going to be a weekly one and will consist primarily of songs and then one interview per show with a band or people in and around the scene.

Hey Russel
Where is this going to be broadcast?
russell
It's going to be an online station, so streaming media only. My Digital Life are the guys setting it all up

What type of music? Even metal
russell
Amongst my many failings is a distinct love of metal. While I'm unlikely to run with 8bit music, I'll take almost any genre, metal definitely being one of them. As the show goes on, I may take it to a specific genre if the majority of listeners demand it, although I'd prefer keeping it as a mixed-genre show

can the music be instrumental or are vocals necessary?
russell
Hmm, hadn't considered that ?
The majority of what I play would have vocals but it's easy enough to mix in some instrumental tracks as well. It's a bit of added variety.
