Mannoroth
Hi guys and girls,
I am a bit of a caveman so please excuse the fact that I have already partaken in forum discussions without properly introducing myself.
I call myself Mannoroth, based on the pitlord / demon character from Warcraft 3, because I'm nerdy like that ?. (I'm also into Magic the gathering and stuff like that)
My "mortal" name is Bernardt and I am an Afrikaans oukie from Pretoria, bandmates sometimes refer to me as the "dutchman", but what can you do...?
We play a combination of melodic / death / black metal with a variety of other influences. I share lead and rhythm duties with fellow guitarist, I've been playing for about 8 years.
Sadly I play the "wrong way round", so finding guitars is a mission. My gear ... Epi LP Standard and Gaskell flying V. Randall RG 2000 combo, Line 6 Uber Metal Stomper, Boss GT8, Digitech GNX 3000, Boss Metal Zone, Crate 120w combo for practise, and thats about it.
Interested in anything metal, ranging from Melodic to black - I dig a variety of stuff - Wintersun, Behemoth, Wolves in the throne room, ACDC, Meshuggah, Mastodon, Rammstein, In Flames, Dark Tranquility, Skeleton Witch, Slayer, Tool, Ensiferum, Septic Flesh, Nile, Lost Soul, Samael etc.
I think this forum is awesome and I'm hoping to meet many fellow musos and learn lots of new tricks via this platform... Keep rockin' it! 8)
