I spent the past two weeks in the US for business and a bit of pleasure.
I initially wanted to only pick up a pedal or two while there, but I made the mistake of trying out a few guitars. I've loved the sienna burst from the moment I first saw it. Guitarcenter had three identical models on the wall in the spec I wanted. I played all three and one just clicked, it played like a dream. It sounded really good acoustically and even better plugged in. I couldn't help myself, so out came the card... :-[
Quite the mission to get this beauty back here, but we made it safe and sound... I gave it to Foster for a set-up earlier in the week and she now plays even better!!! I gave her a good workout at band practice last night... She is a cracker! ?
Here she is... My ash bodied American Standard in Sienna Burst with Rosewood fretboard.
In the end I also buckled and got a few pedals... no more GAS money for me for a loooong time!
