so it would appear that i may soon have the opportunity to purchase one of these 'fine' guitars. never heard of them, did a little research, discovered they were (still are?) made in italy, came to prominence in the 60s thanks to the rise of rock 'n roll, made a wide variety of instruments ranging from 6-string electrics to 4-string acoustic fretless basses and that's about it. the guitar i'm most probably going to be introduced to is a 60s/70s ranger (6-string acoustic), and i was kinda hoping someone here might be able to tell me whether it's even worth going to have a look, or whether, on the other hand, the lady who's selling it is sitting on one of those rarities (which i doubt as these guys also manufactured a range of house-brand guitars for jc penny or someone like that...)
here's hoping one of you walking "jane's guitars" can help me out
