Waves. I've had the same cable for a while, but I also dont stand on my cables and I roll it up properly. Otherwise by some Neutrec jacks and good cable and make it.

You can easily do it yourself, or get a friend, or get a local music store to make one up for you. Its important that the cable gets made up with quality parts:

Neutricks Jacks or Amphenol are your best bet. I use Neutrick for my main cables as they are as durable as ever. They will survive Armagedon ?, but for patch cables, I hear the Amphenol 90° jacks are better as they are slightly smaller

In terms of cable. I hear the best review for Mogami cable. But I have been using Proel and it is not bad either!

So, ask for these or get them yourself and there you go. A cable that will last a lifetime

Do you know if there are any place online that has a variety of jacks and stuff?
I bought some stuff at a nearby music shop but the guys don't keep a wide variety and I doubt they're gonna order just two jacks for me haha
And i'm also looking for decent 3.5mm jacks. The Solomons crap just doesn't cut it haha
One of their jacks' tips broke off in my 003 Factory the other day. Boy was I mad!
It was the only ones I could find. I can't find other shops that have the less popular jacks.

Yes, that is a problem. I usually get from one of the local retailers. Paul Bothners have neutrik jacks and Proel cable. Marshal music has (as far as I know) both Amphenol and Neutric as well as Proel and Mogami. I just use Bothners as its more convenient. I don't know of any online stores. Maybe Take2? hahaha

In regards to how much to spend, it'd be as much as is necessary to not have to replace it for a couple of years. I know the Fender guitar cables are around R250. Ive had 3 of them in the past but I've had to re-solder all of the ends so NOT impressed with their quality.

I would be keen to make my own cables. But ya, it's just buying the components and the cables separately that's a mission. Thanks for the input guys!! ?

Oh yea, forgot to add that its much much cheaper to make own cable too. Its on average R60/R70 a jack. So thats R140, + R10 a metre so you could pay around R180 which is still cheaper than the other cables, it can be easily fixed if it breaks. All my cables are self-made. I know its a hassle, but its just worth doing it this way.

I think I'll have to get some of my Google'ing going ?

I recently bought a decent soldering iron and like you said, it does work out MUCH cheaper!
very much worth the investment.
