Hi all you Satch freaks!
Never been a massive Satch fan (please don't stone me ? ) although i do think he is a brilliant guitarist, and certain songs are brilliant (always with me, always with you, as an example).
Anyway - i was told he had a blues'ish album from many years back. Any idea about which album that might be? From what i read online, i think its the self titled album he released 1995?
Since there lots of you Satch fans out there, i was wondering if you could let me know. Thanks!

I think his main influences are Rock and Jazz. He plays all sorts of music but he loves returning to "classic" riffs and things, even if played at about 20 times the speed of the original ?
So with that in mind, a lot of his albums have some blues happening in them but I don't think any of his albums are super-blues orientated.
Maybe the person you're talking about was thinking of "Flying in a Blue Dream". There does seem to be a sort of bluesy theme there although I wouldn't call it a blues album...
- Big Bad Moon
- The Phonecall
- Strange
Been a while since I listened to that album though, so the above is from memory and, unlike Meir (Satriani), I don't have a note-for-note memory for Satch's songs ? Yet ?

F#ck I meant to say rock and blues. Not Jazz. (although his sounds are influenced by jazz, classical and all sorts of other things as well)

Shot Norio, will give those a listen!
