Looking for a Fender Valve amp

Good day Y'all

I know I been a bit quiet. But I been working hard. And now I have some moneys saved up to buy a Valve amp.

My main interest is clean tone. I am planning on recording a album once I have this amp.

I need to get that John Mayer - Continuum tone.

I will be mic-ing up this amp with a Rode NT2A Condensor. I also have an SM58 to work with.

I would like to MIC / LINE this amp on 2 seperate channels to get a mixed signal.

Fender / Vox amp ideas?

I was rather keen on the HotRod Deville 212.

Yeah, it's got to be a Fender.

I know of a '95 Super (65W, 4 x 10 combo with the blue frame alnico speakers, channel switching and master volume) in mint condition if you're interested. I'm not sure, but I think these were one of the Riviera designed amps. A very nice amp, quite rare with lots of clean headroom (but a good drive if you want it). http://ampwares.com/amplifiers/fender-super-pro-tube/ . PM me if you want details.

The DeVille never really floated my boat for some reason, but the Hotrod Deluxe is a good option with more than enough clean headroom for recording.

For Continuum tone, all you need to get started are a Dumble Steel String Singer, a Two Rock and a Fender Bandmaster (and not an original one). ?

For us mortals I agree that a Hotrod Deluxe will get you in the sonic ballpack with some awesome cleans. I really like the VOX cleans I get with the Night Train, but it's a very different kind of clean tone to my mate's Deluxe.

But i dont know what John Mayer is using, but it think it is always a combination of fender strat (rosewood0 and fender amp (and him playing)

Two Rock JM Signature

Cabs with 2 12 Celestion Heritage and 2 12 Celestion Gold to be exact

Of the interviews I've watched recently, he said he uses a Bassman/Bandmaster (can't remember which) for those "sparkly cleans". Hunting for the interview now, but it's quite a few minutes worth of interviews that I have watched recently ?

I was super Impressed with the Fender Super Sonic 22 I was jamming on at marshall the other day
So impressed in fact that I have decided to sell everything i own and pick up one....

Not sure if its what the OP is looking for - but I basically am searching for something with a big sparkly fender clean (Check) and a veru usable distortion channel (check!)
