the best way to use these two mics?

mic number one: http://www.dv247.com/microphones/superlux-sl-ecoh6a--29502 (this thing cost me next-to-nothing and i've had it forever.)
mic number two: akg d2200s. hypercardiod dynamic mic. (ditto as per above.)

the superlux requires phantom power, which i can get via my wee behringer 4-channel mixer. i'm thinking of using them both as paperweights unless someone else has a better idea?

If you have other, better mics, no need to keep them unless they do something no other mic in your collection does.

Otherwise, I'm sure you know someone, somewhere who is both deserving and skint. ?

i currently have no other mics. but after my trip to the tax consultant this morning, i may indeed be in the market... :dance: on the donations front, i wonder if andy's drive includes this kind of stuff too... holy rusted grates batman, good thinking!

There is always a bunch of guys starting out that would kill for a condenser mic, even if it isn't the best. If you don't use them pass them along. Otherwise be nice and donate them to a school or something.

i think that's the plan. just need to pick up a replacement dual-duty before i walk on down the road...

Best I've found is 3 mics, 2 at right angles together, and the 3rd for mono straight to source. Creates 'space'.
