Hey guys,

I recently bought a very nice pre-used Epiphone Les Paul for my cousin on behalf of his parents.
But the silly thing won't stay in tune for more than a day!
I assume it must be the Tuners.

Any recommendations for new Tuners?
I hear good things about the Grover Tuners.

Any input greatly appreciated!

Take it to a techy to be checked out. I think they come stock with Grovers?

They do indeed come standard with Grovers but from what I've read the stock Grovers that they use on Epi's are not as high-quality as the aftermarket Grovers. The gear ratio is apparently different as well (1:16 for the stock ones and 1:18 for the aftermarket versions).
Do the tuners feel loose? If not it might very well be a nut issue. What gauge strings do you have on there? Are you wrapping them correctly?
