Aria in D major

I am really starting to fall in love with classical guitar. This is my new Jose Ramirez R4. I like the Cedar top sound a lot and now I can choose between Spruce and Cedar depending on what I think might best suit the piece. Anyway, apologies for lack of dynamics. This was the 1st and only take and then I was moeg. I'll be happy if anyone gets any joy from it. ?

also fabulous to see you enjoying the classical studies , it shows in your playing. you've achieved so much in a relatively short time , i do hope you stop and pat yourself on the back every now and then and bask in the glory ...of your hard work...... you deserve it ....

@Keira you made my week! Thank you for the kind words. I have been working hard at it and it's tough to switch between this and flamenco. I'm glad you like the Ramirez tone. This one has a great neck and 650 scale length unlike some of the beasts they make at 664 so I can manage with this one.

? Although I might need a slightly better touch on my studio. I heard a tiny bit of clipping there.

very lekker. it is my opinion (and i don't know if it's a generally-held one) that, even in steel-strung guitars, cedar has a slightly brighter, more immediate response than spruce. the guitar sounds delightful, but it would sound like any other piece of would if it weren't for the instrumentalist.
