How has you guitar collection changed in the last year?

stu · 2011-10-12T09:12:56+00:00

I know we have had this poll before but Im interested to see how things have changed. Last time I voted I had 2 guitars. I now have 7 (and an 8th coming soon! :P) :D Id list them but its nothing exiting. Except for my 1982 Ibanez MC150 Musician ;) Obviously this includes any bass's you own. (old forum) Poll Results: How many guitars do you have? 1: 3 2: 6 3: 10 4: 10 5: 5 6: 5 7: 5 8: 5 9: 2 10: 2 Life is awesome! (10+): 11

Aubs1 wrote Only 40 out of the approx 4500 members responded to the poll..... ( which is not surprising). So I think if we had 10% respondents, we would have a more accurate picture.

Me thinks Alan & Norio should delete everyone with 0 posts who registered more than a month ago. Clean house a bit so to speak, then we might get some more accurate numbers.

Mrs Vic says I have way too many ! So every time I get another one I kinda feel "guilty"...you know like a 11 yo who has had his 1st... hmmm.... kiss ?

OK...I have also voted just now. Interestingly most members who voted so far have 10+ guitars. (I have less)

However, Tuesday I bought a magnificent.....no not a Gibson ! :?...... Fiesta red Fender Customshop deluxe Strat....my fav Fender colour.

selbydoodl

Added a Greg Fesler Custom Shop Tele in cobalt blue to math the Strat in same custom shop colour they look like brother and sister now.

Managed a JM "black one" and also EVH custom shop strat.

Got to stop buying now! :-\

At my house i have 4

1x Tokai love rock
1 x Epi les paul
1 x Fender Strat
1 x crappy accoustic

then i have a flying V in NZ and a superstrat down at the coast.

My plan for the coming year is to actually learn to play them.

over the last year i bought 1, swopped 1, gave 1 to macgibbons give a guitar thang, and i won one.

i have no plans to buy any over the next year or 2. i am very very happy with the current lot ,unless something cokmes along of course.
