Not specifically, no. The Sennheiser MD421 is one of the classic guitar amp mics.
Aside from the obvious (miking the head instead of the cab), the 421 is a side-address mic, which means you don't point the end directly at the source, it goes side-on. The mic in the pic is aimed at the floor (or maybe at the ceiling, difficult to tell from the pic). An honest mistake to make if you are only used to 57s, 58s and the like, but you would think that if it was a guitarist that set it up, they would know where the sound comes from in a Marshall stack and if they were a sound engineer, they would have a passing idea of how their mics work.
