Another cool band I recently found.... I really like them... a bit in the same vein as the pixies but still great....
Note the tiny tweed amp that sounds AWSOME!!!

Looks like a tweed Fender Pro Junior or Blues Junior. It does sound good, but I think he's got a dirtbox up front too.
Shame about the acoustic sound though (which sounds like he's plugged into the JC120).

Nice song. But a touch generic. Like a lot of these bands their songs each sound like an amalgamation of the most common elements of Pixies songs, whereas the Pixies stood out because of the variety in their tunes - with a great many not sounding like any others in their repertoire (or anything anyone else had ever done, for that matter).
Lead guitar sound was a bit underwhelming I thought. A bit Cube-ish.

Enjoyed that... that particular song was A LOT in the vein of the Pixies albeit less bass prominence, acoustic sounded very dodge. Will check out there other stuff... for all I know it could sound like Nick's era Mac ?
