you're right Slyd there are some things I will attempt, and others I'd leave to the experts,
this has been a fantastic project for me and a great learning curve ( I suspect Wayne has enjoyed it too ? )
of course, none of this would have been possible had we not met other collaborators on this forum....

We're at the point where we want to do a bit of 'personalising' on this guitar, and ideas are thrown around about putting my dad's first name across the top ala 'Elvis' or 'SRV' style,,,,,
nahh,,,,, I think that kind of naming is reserved for Elvis and SRV,,,,, but we did agree on a much more discreet way of achieving the same thing........
