maybe i'm a moron but i was well impressed by the Swollen Pickle by Way Huge. they quite different pedals.

put it on 240p (360p has no sound then bursts of noise! be warned)

When you say "weird noises", do you mean ocilasion or just funky fuzz tones?

The Fuzz Factory is a crazy pedal, but tweaking on the fly with that thing is kinda hard, at least, it was for me
And I'm a tweaker by hart..there temperamental beasts, lotsa fun in not to serious situations thou ?

If you want oscillating fuzzes(cheap to expensive):

I don't have first hand experience with one of these, but have a look at the
PGS demo's...its amazing, grate fuzz, flexible and controllable and you can add
craziness to tast.

Your other option would be to get a nice fuzz, a blackarts,EQD of whatever you'd like
and then place it in a feedback loop...fair field circuitry and devi ever make a couple of
nice and well priced loops, you can even build your own, I have built a couple and
I'm by no means actually skilled with electronics. ?

So I ended up buying the Fuzz Factory yesterday. It is a crazy pedal but and quite hard to tame but that is kind of what I was looking for. ?
I'm never in a serious situation ?

FuzzFactory is awesome, there are too many options to play with. Bit pricey but just consider that bands like MUSE use it quite a bit. Not sure if that's the fuzz sound ur looking for? The only thing is if we had an option in SA to custom build it into a guitar, i would so go with it. The FuzzFactory has soo many options it's unbelievable. I hope you enjoy it. It seems like a very different fuzz compared to what I'm used to. (Big Muff and Fuzz Face)

Finally received my Fuzz factory after many many weeks due to PGS having some problems their side. But all is sorted and managed to jam with it for a bit last night.

What an insane pedal, super difficult to tame but I am sure spending some time I will work it out. Thought I could replace my fuzz face with this but not too sure now, its a beast of its own kind. Very MUSE ical ?

When I was in Korea I was lucky enough to be in a shop that had any fuzz pedal you could think of and I tried all of them. I knew what kinda sound I wanted. I liked most of them, especially the Fuzz Factory was great! I fell in love with the Little Big Muff, though. I plugged it in and 90's Smashing Pumpkins came to mind. I love my Muffy, if you haven't tried one yet, you should. All I want now is the EHX LPB to stick in front of it.

I probably just had a dodge fuzz factory but mine always made a weird "tick tick" noise whenever I played somewhere near an electric fence!

If you want a Fuzz Factory, well, then nothing else will do, as there is noting else like it out there.
Just remember, that if you want a true classic-tone-correct Fuzz Face, then a Fuzz Factory is deff not the one.
