Teisco Vegas L40 Worth?

Does anybody know anything about this guitar? Its from the 60's, so, is it worth anything?

Value? I dunno... You'd have to get a valuation from someone like George Gruhn for that. But Teiscos are usually collectible for the oddity value and relative scarcity.

This implies that the relative value of the guitar in SA is relatively low, since, atleast that is what I assume, there are not so much collectors of vintage (japanese) gear, let alone teisco

Not to much.... maybe like R2000 for a safe sale.... the likely hood someone will pay morethan that is alot more scarce.
Tiesco made ALOT of guitars which were cool, but not super collectable.

Zany guitar. That replacement pickguard isn't going to help the resale value any, I'm afraid. Collectors will want 'em all original.
