The nut is made from mastodon ivory. The body is ash and the neck is maple.

$6250 for a 'tele'

There can only be 35 farts on the earth that would pay that for a 'tele', with using the best parts possible, cant cost more than $1500 to make
They didnt skimp on quality however. But still $4000 to much

And why put on date on it? :-\ next year in 2012, you look at your guitar everyday and say dam.. its says 2011 on the 12th fret.. fail

dont get me wrong it is very expensive, but it looks cool, and with that marketing campaign they will definitely sell those 35 guitars.
