TOMS in sandton......just over 400 bucks .... simple tuner no fancy unnneccessary stuff...simple to use and at that price it is a sin not to have a pedal tuner.

The only thing that would put me off.
Nice find ICM. Will probably recommend these to others at that price.
It tracks quickly and compared to my other tuners accurately too.....takes a second or 2 to get used to the display ......will work well just about everywhere, mutes when in use, true bypass when not, silent operaition button...

only time it prolly wont be that good is when playing in direct sunlight but as I ma unlikely to be playing in stadiums during the day it should not be a problem

They are great tuners, I recommended it to Psean in this thread:

I bought the SN-8 from Toms Sandton as well for R199. Its pretty good and it trumps the SN-2 in that the screen is more visible even in natural daylight and is slightly more responsive and equally accurate.
Yup. I've used an SN-8 of a friend's and it's brilliant. Definitely responsive, visible and accurate.
As I said uptop, I got the clip on basic one. Works fine. Chows the 2032's like a dog and it isnt pretty but hey, it works.

I'm interested in your opinions now that you've had it a while. Still Awesome? The price is so good, so I'm pretty interested in them.

yip,it does what it says....I think in bright sunlight it may be a problem to read though but every thing works as a tuner pedal shoudh
