Great piece Conrad, you have a lovely touch and tone (and you cant rely on effects ?)
It's all in the fingers!
Great to hear a Classical piece, I am so used to your Flamenco pieces which need a bit more aggressive playing, in this piece your playing is very gentle.
The guitar sounds great as well.
Just one question, what did you use to record this piece, really captured the nylon well?
Thanks David. The tone is largely owed to that particular guitar. Some student luthier at Contreras got it right and I am befitting from that. The changes between Tasto and Ponticello, I learnt from my classical teacher (your reference to tone).
I did, however add a little reverb (reference to effects).
About the recording: As you mentioned, it is difficult to get a high fidelity representation of an acoustic sound so I had to find the right condenser mic to produce this. In this case the Rode NT3. The rest is just a little TASCAM DAW into the PC with Cubase.
Thank you for your kind words. you really inspired me. I appreciate it very much. ?
@Norman: Thank you man. I really appreciate it ?
