Does anyone know where to find xotic effects In SA? I'm looking for an ep booster!

You can find an EP Booster on my pedal board, but you can't have it - at least not at the moment.

I was considering selling it, but I like the tiny size. I'm not totally in love with the way it sounds though. It does fatten and warm up your tone quite a bit. I just wish it was a bit more of a transparent boost, than a preamp with a boost function. It shall stay until I can get something like a SHO in a small pedal (or do a rehouse project).

Nobody is currently importing Xotic, sadly.

Don't know locally but ProGuitarShop ships internationally and quite a few guys on the forum have bought from them. Apparently the RC booster is better and has a higher level of boost about 30db as opposed to the EP that's at about 20db if I'm correct.

The EP is based on the preamp in an old Echoplex that was known to add "sparkle" when used as a standalone preamp. So it's clean, but not transparent.

All are absolutely epic. cover all my needs. Im itching for the AC however
They where the end of my boost/drive search, wont part with them ever I think.

Addict. ? If my Nova Drive can't be fixed, I've thought of trying an AC and BB combo. I dunno - from the descriptions and clips, an RC and AC might do the job. I definitely want to keep the number of pedals down. But then, I'm getting a bunch of Strymon pedals in for review soon, so I suspect GAS funds will be limited in the near future. ?
