I'm sure the poor dude was shocked when he arrived at the pearly gates sans his prized Telecaster (especially considering that God plays a strat) but I'm not sure I can blame the dude who stole it from him. You don't bury a Telecaster! >☹

I guess that should be twelve coils for a telecaster. It's amazing what guitar treasure you can dig up. Has anyone tested the natural reverb inside a coffin? Perhaps the Grateful Dead?
I wonder if the culprit intended to use the guitar to keep him awake during the graveyard shift! ?

Grave robbing is still theft. But it's just as criminal that some idiot sticks a useful, cool thing like that in the ground. Stupid crap. A guitar doesn't die with its owner, so who'd put one in the ground with a corpse. :-\

This puts Bob's point about them being tools to their ultimate extent. It's no different to burning an expensive guitar.
