TJ's Music Club - Open mic night - Thursday 29th

This Thursday night at Marks Park, Emmarentia, Johannesburg. TJs provide the PA. Performance slots are 15 minutes. If you want to play then get there early and get your name down, demand has exceeded supply the last couple of months.

Venue: Marks Park, Judith road, Emmarentia - in the Press Club bar, which is a small, friendly room.
Time: Music starts at 20:00
Admission: R25

Drinks and light meals can be ordered from Marks Park staff.

Come and put your pipes and chops to the test.

I'll be there, but not playing. I'm keeping my powder dry for October 6th.

Get there early! Some times it's over subscribed and people who want to play can't get a slot.

Thanks, will try. Would be nice if there'd be more GFSA'ers. C'mon guys, time to crawl out of the wood works. For those who haven't been, you don't have to perform. The last time I was there I just sat back and enjoyed the music (of which there was some really good stuff).

i truly miss going to the open mic nights........ we seen some great talent over the years.......that night the guy was playing the 3 string homemade cigar box guitar must be one of my favourite open mic nights ............that was awesome and also so cool .........

unfortunately i'm teaching this thurs evening .......the things we need to do for money ? but will be there for Bob's show on 6th .......

ya, sorry. i'm only unleashed (literally - as in the leash is removed) once a month to indulge me passion. this month is all used up, and i'm saving oct for the 6th...
